Explore Bucharest’s Jewish heritage on a 4-hour walking tour. You’ll get to learn how strong still is the impact of Jewish people in the development of the city’s architecture, by seeing several important buildings by Jewish architects.
What to Expect
You’ll be introduced in the history and culture of Jewish in Romania, by visiting not only the famous Choral Temple, one of the few where there are still weekly religious ceremonies, but also the Museum of Holocaust and Museum of Jewish History.
Exploring the streets of the old Jewish Neighbourhood, we will also get to visit the Jewish Theatre and learn about the Jewish school, celebrating the community’s cultural legacy.
We will then embark in a short bus ride and go visit the most impressive Monument built for the Jewish who died in WW2: Memorial of Holocaust.
